Glenfarclas 105

Glenfarclas 105 is a proper Speyside classic: big, sherried and bottled at a formidable 60% ABV. Named after the old British proof system, “105” refers to its natural cask-strength style — uncoloured, unapologetic and built for people who like their whisky with a bit of weight behind it.

Expect a rich nose of dried fruit, orange peel, toffee and warm spice, leading into dark chocolate, raisins, roasted nuts and a touch of smoke on the palate. Despite the strength, it carries the unmistakable Glenfarclas house style: deep sherry character, full malt sweetness and a long, warming finish.

A brilliant bottle for the whisky drinker who has moved beyond easy sipping and wants something with real intensity. Add a few drops of water and it opens up beautifully, revealing more fruit, spice and sweetness beneath the power.
